UK Launches Open Source Centre
It has been of great concern to OpenForum Europe in its pan European discussions with governments and the EC that the UK is currently poorly represented. The NOC is a first for the UK, and will create a much needed forum for development of UK policies and strategies. Such a forum is essential if UK Government and UK industry, particularly SMEs, are not to fall behind the rest of Europe.
